“I knew I wanted to be a dentist since I was 12 years old. I needed to interview a ‘professional’ for a seventh-grade term paper, and I chose my dentist. He told me how rewarding dentistry had been to him, both personally and professionally. Looking back, I couldn’t have made a better career choice. I have always enjoyed working with my hands in a creative fashion, and being able to help people improve the quality of their life is a definite bonus.
“I earned my dental degree from Southern Illinois University after completing my bachelor’s degree in Premedicine from Montana State University. Then a couple of years later I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, receiving a certificate in periodontics.
“I have practiced here in Coeur d’Alene since September of 1980, and my practice is limited to periodontics and dental implants. I enjoy solving challenging cases because the rewards are so great when the patient sees results they only dreamed about. By using leading-edge techniques, I’m able to consistently deliver optimum-quality care. I also like explaining the latest methods to my patients and giving to them a greater sense of appreciation and regard for their oral health.”
